Steve passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital after an unexpected and sudden cardiac event. Steve was an incredibly generous, witty, and devoted man whose pride and joy in his family trumped all else. Your cheery ways and smiling face, are a pleasure to recall; you had a kindly word for each, and died beloved by all. Heavy are our hearts today, memory brings you back once more, to the time when you were with us, to the happy days of yore. A sweet little flower, nipped in the bud, no grief or sorrow knew; just came to earth to win our love and then to Heaven withdrew. No stain was on your little heart, sin had not entered there; and innocence slept sweetly on that pale white brow so fair. Gone is the face we loved so dear, silent is the voice we loved to hear. The rolling stream of life rolls on. But still the vacant chair recalls the love, the voice, the smile of the one who once sat there. OBITUARIES
