Called the Sovereign House Plein Air Show, it runs until Sept. 29, coincid- ing with Oakville's Culture Days. The event is free, so any- one can see the works on display. The show will be on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays from 1 to 4 p.m. Visitors will have an op- portunity to purchase works that they see. "Through thick and thin, even in the cold weather, we go and paint local things and then we get little paintings of them. Sometimes we take them back," said Colleen Pat- trick, one of the partici- pants. Members of the public who decide to buy any of the paintings can do so at the end of the show. Patrick emphasized that "we prefer that everyone be vaccinated and masked and don't touch the paint- ings."
