He was born in 1936 in Toronto, Ontario to Norman and Evelyn and had a happy childhood. She was a curious traveler who enjoyed trips to northern destinations and deep dives into various provinces and states. She shared her passion by volunteering with Bruce Trail, and Seniors for Nature Outdoor Club. Indoors she loved sewing, needle work, and drawing. She maintained a positive attitude throughout her later life medical issues, never letting her ailments define her. She was a voracious reader and continued to enjoy literature and non-fiction to the very end. Marilyn is survived by Norman, her loving husband of 56 years and her cherished son, Tobin (Pamela). The family would like to thank the medical staff who supported her through her ailments and many friends and family who called and dropped by to say hello. She always felt connected.
