Marie was born in Hamilton on September 19, 1953, and moved to Milton in 1977. Beloved wife of John; darling mother of Lesley (Rick), Stephen and Babcia to Jessica. She was predeceased by her parents Eliasz and Katherine Kuczma. She will be remembered by her brothers Ed (Grace) and Paul (Lucy) and their children. Marie worked hard alongside John in their business Cana- dian Engravers Supply. She had a zest for life and blessed all she came in contact with either personally or pro- fessionally. She had an adventurous spirit, loved to travel, dance Polkas, play baseball and host a great party. But most of all she loved to spend time with her family. MCLEAN, Ronald Charles ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Ronald Charles McLean, of Oakville, Ontario, passed away peacefully, after having battled both lung and brain cancer, on Friday, January 28, 2022 at the Peterborough Regional Health Center at the age of 88 years. Ron was predeceased by his first wife Eleanor Kathleen McLean (nee McLaughlin). He is survived by his daughter Stacey; sisters Maureen (Mickie) Korek and Lorraine (Gerald) Foesier; nephews Scott, Greg, Nellis, Jeremy and Christopher, plus many great- nephews and nieces. He is also survived by the Morch family: Lisa (Ian), Kathy (Darrell), Dave (Cheryl) and grandchildren; Bayley, Allanah, Cassandra, David, Michelle, Kayley and Peter, as well step- brother George Patak (Rosmarie) and their son Scott (Joanne). Born and raised in Calgary he moved to Ontario at the age of 18 and there joined the R.C.M.P. where he spent the next 20 years proudly in service and retired with the rank of Staff Sergeant as Chief Reader of Criminal Investigations branch activities for Southwestern Ontario. While still a member of the force, he attended the University of Toronto where he received his B.A. as well as his Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and thus began practicing law full- time upon graduation. He, his wife Eleanor and their daughter Stacey, all had a passion for travel and were lucky enough, over the years to have visited every continent but Antarctica. Ron was a lifelong golfer, curler and a long-time member of the Bruce Trail Conservancy. He loved gardening and could always be found relaxing in the backyard, listening to classical music or reading a novel in his chaise lounge with a beer nearby enjoying the view. With his partner, Ilona Morch, together went on many new adventures across Canada and abroad. They were active in dance, bowling, wine club, spending time with Ilona's family and grandchildren, as well as their annual golf holiday trip of driving down to Williamsburg, Virginia. Ron had a generous heart, lived a full and abundant life and will be missed my many, but not forgotten. A memorial will take place in February, 2022 in Peterborough, Ontario. Don was also a music teacher at Queen Elizabeth Park High School in Oakville and taught private music and voice lessons through Don Singular Music Studio.
