Somer- ville, Church Street, when their daughter, Anna Elmarie, was unit- ed in marriage with George r- nest Cushnie, son of Mr. and Mrs, George -Cushnie, Vineland. Rev. Harry Pawson, of St. John's Uni ed Church, officiated in an at- tractive setting of spring flowers in pastel shades, and lan Fraser played the wedding music. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a gown of white French brocaded satin in ' leaf design, fashioned on princess lines. The moulded bodice feat- ured a low sweetheart neckline, and the sheath-tight sleevs extend- ed in lily point over her hands. Her finger-ti veil, embroidered in leaf design, was arranged from a coronet of orange blossoms, and she carried a cascade bou- quet of red roses and bouvardia. Mrs. Harold Kennedy, Port Cre- dit, was matron of honor, wearing a portrait gown of primrose yel- low chiffon over taffeta. She wore a matching braided chiffon halo, and carried pink carnations and lavender sweet peas. Connie Brown, Oakville, was flower girl, in a floor-length gown of apple green nylon over taffeta, with matching headdress, and carrying a nosegay of spring flowers. Groomsman was James Cushnie, of Vineland, the groom's brother. Following the ceremony a recep- tion was held, Mrs. Somerville, the bride's mother, receiving her guests wearing a gown of delft blue-figured crepe, with navy hat and accessories, and corsage of pink rosebuds. Mrs. Cushnie, the groom's mother, who received with her, wore a gown of navy blue crepe with wine accessories, and corsage of pink roses. The bride and groom left on a wed- ding trip, the bride wearing a violet cashmere suit with grey and mauve accessories and cors- age of yellow roses. The cerem- ony was conducted by Rey. Har- ry Pawson, and Miss L. M. Me- Bain, organist, played the wed- ding music, The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, wore an original gown of drift white nylon marquisette over 'heavy silk taf- feta, cut on princess lines. The portrait neckline was outlined in guipure daisy lace, and the grace- ful folds of the draped neckline extended over the choulders to form small sleeves. The full skirt had deep gathers over the arched hipline, and a row of daisies ex- tended around the bottom of the skirt, while the back fullness fell in graceful folds to form a chapel train. The bride's fingertip veil of tulle illusion was arranged from a cap of white marquisette, finished with daisies, and she wore mitts of marquisette out- lined in lace, and carried white marguerites.
