PE Next Sunday the Oakville High ORATORICAL CONTEST The auditorium of Oakville Trafalgar High School resounded with the rhythms and cadences of youthful oratory Wednesday evening of last week, when the school finals of Oakville Lions! Club oratorical contest were held. David Patrick captured the senior award, first for junior going to Mary Brennan. Others competing were Carol Austin and Allan Simpson, seniors, and Bob Blake and Judy Crawford, juniors. Each speaker delivered a prepared ad- dress and an impromptu talk, a variety of topics being dealt with. The quality of the' performance won expressions of approval from the judges. Mrs. Robert Mason and son Jimmie = visited Mrs. Mason's mother in Toronto last week. The Walton Memorial' Church Sunday School held movie night in the Church last Thursday. School ,Glee Club is presenting a sacred con in Walton Mem- orial Churel PE The Bronte Fire Department was called out on Saturday to the home of Mr. Cliff Reed.
