ANNIE LITCHFIELD Following a month's illness, Mrs. Annie Litchfield, widow of the late Percival Litchfield, died at her home, 33 Dundas St. North, on Thursday. The late Mrs. Litch-. field, who was 80 years of age, had been an invalid for the past five years. Born in Chatham, she had lived in Oakville since child- hood. Before her marriage she was Annie Elizabeth Wright. She was a member of St. John's United Church, and a former member of the W.C.T.U. Mrs. Litchfield is survived by seven sons, Ross, Charles, Elmer, Clare, Hubert, ' Howard and William, all of Oakville, and by three daughters, Mae and Dorothy, at home, and Mrs. Clifford Law- rence, Toronto. The funeral was held Saturday afternoon from the funeral chapel of S. S. Russell and Son to St. Jude's Cemetery. Services were conducted by Rev. Harry Pawson, and the sons of the deceased acted as pall-bear- ers. WINNIFRED C. LINGWOOD A member of the staff of Westwood public school' for the past five years, Miss Winnifred: C. L. Lingwood died Saturday at her home, R. R. 4, Simcoe, in Townsend township. She was in her 45th year. Il for some time, Miss Ling- wood succumbed to cancer. She had resigned her position here just prior to the commencement of the current school term, In addition to her teaching - duties, she evinced an active interest in the work of Calvary Baptist church while resident here.
