On May 11, the province re- ported there were 1,528 people in Ontario hospitals with COVID-19, including 176 in intensive care units. Oakville pediatrician Dr. Rick MacDonald said in the last couple of months there has been an ex- plosion of positive COVID-19 cases in schools. "The pandemic is not over," he said.
