Predeceased by his wife of 53 years, Joan, Guy will be greatly missed by his loving daughters Anne (David), Louise and Yvonne and ador- ing granddaughters Megan and Rachel. Born October 3, 1933 in Montreal, Quebec, Guy was the youngest of his siblings: three brothers and two sisters. He married Joan Robertson on April 20, 1963 and was a devoted father to his three daughters. Guy enjoyed a long and successful career as a Corporate Accountant (CMA). After moving to Oakville, Ontario, in 1984, Guy and Joan enjoyed many years of travel to Britain, Europe, USA and Asia. He loved playing bridge and golf with his many friends. He also cherished time spent with his granddaughters. Guy will be fondly remembered for his kind and friendly smile. He was playful and loved to laugh, joke, dance and sing. He was a true gentleman. The family would like to thank the staff at Post Inn Village for their compassionate and dedicated care over the past two years. A funeral service will be held at Saint Dominic Parish, 2415 Rebecca St, Oakville, Ontario, on Friday, August 12, 2022 (today) at 10:30 a.m. followed by a reception in the parish centre. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Guy to the Alzheimers Society of Ontario would be appreciated.
