We would like to thank local businesses, churches, poppy volunteers, Air, Army and Navy Cadets and the community for making our Poppy Campaign and Remembrance Day ceremony successful. We would like to give a special thank you to all the Public and Separate school children who excelled in their contributions made to the Poppy Campaign. It means so much to our Veterans and Legions to know that the schools are relaying our Veterans stories and messages. Thank you for the generous support we received from our Community. Oakville and Bronte Legions participated in their Veterans Remembrance Day Parades this year for the first time in three years as Covid restrictions were eased. Covid-19 has limited our activities especially our Veterans Remembrance Day parade. 2022 Remembrance Day Parades and Poppy Drives were almost back to what we remembered.
