This exhibit will explore Canadian's war experiences from an Ontarian point of view and emphasize the contribution and struggles of ordinary people, as well as the sacrifices of the veterans and how they are remembered. It will illustrate the transformation of Canadian society's perception of wars, violence, and people who participated in the conflicts from the two world wars to the era of contemporary peacekeeping.

The documentation of wars, remembrance and heritage are extremely important parts of Canada's history that represents Canada as a nation, and helps the public better understand the bravery and dedication of Canadian people during wartime and peacetime. This exhibit consists of digitally documented sources from various databases, organizations, communities, galleries, newspapers, libraries, archives, and many other digital collections.
