Description
This black and white photo shows the Baxter family in front of their home on Lot 4, Conc.1. A small barn can be seen to the left of the family home.

Mr. and Mrs. Baxter are posed with their four children, Joyce, Doris, Kenneth, and Luella.
Notes
Ivan Baxter purchased the farm in April 1951 and over the years the family sold cream and bottled milk as well as running a maple syrup camp.

Eventually the farm changed from dairy to beef cattle. When the farm was purchased an acre of land sold for $20 and their total taxes were $18.00.

This photo can be found in the Tweedsmuir History created by the Iron Bridge Women's Institute.
