- Description
- This colour photo shows one of the poultry barns on a farm that belonged to Mr. and Mrs. Lauzsus.
The barn is a one story metal structure with a large grain hopper to the right. The sign on the wall reads `Home of My-T-Fresh Eggs - Eggs for sale.'
- Notes
- The My-T-Fresh location was on the site of land once belonging to William Allen and his family who moved to the area in 1885.
It was later owned by Ray Tulloch who sold to Mr. Wang who changed the production from a beef cattle operation to a egg production business. The Wang`s in turn sold to the Lauzsus family in 1968.
The business grew to 23,000 chickens on site producing approximately 18,000 eggs per day.
