During the Crest Hardward fire of December 1977, a passing garbage truck with a curious driver slowed down along the street (like everyone is tempted to do) to watch the proceedings for a moment or two. After leaving the scene he discovered his load had caught a burning piece of debris and was on fire.....
He proceeded to the Thessalon River where he dumped his load into the river and sent flaming debris floating down the river.
Moral of the story: It doesn't pay to be too curious at accident scenes, you could be the next one to be involved....
