Description
This article discusses the opening of the new Iron Bridge School in November 1954. The original school was a log building that was constructed in 1884 and was outgrown by 1906 when it was replaced with a frame building built by James Forrest.
Notes
The school built in 1954 was constructed with only the most modern amenities, from windows to blackboards and lighting.
