- Notes
- ADZE Parallel to the development of the axe ran the development of the adze. It was shorter handled than the axe and was therefore a chipping tool rather than a shaving one. This adze is circa 1895. Loaned by: Stan Hunzinger Humphrey, Ontario, August 1974
