Monday Aug. 20th Finished shingling as much as we could. Rained today. Roof terribly slippery. Bill Bulger fell of so we decided to wait until shingles dried out a little before attempting to stand on them again. Worked inside. General clean up. Smoothing down openings for windows. Mitch and JoAnne went for barn boards to start inside of porch. Removal of all boards in porch but for 1 washroom. Windows stated on porch. Frames build and facia needed. What a day. Everybody beat for same reason. Must have really been a rough weekend for us all. Tuesday Aug 21st. Nice day- shingles finished on roof. Started putting barn boards on inside of porch. One pane of Glass in. Started door frame for porch. JoAnne up to Henrys for tin trim for roof of porch. Started Shingles for porch roof. Tin trim on one side.
