Eaket - Allen
A very pretty wedding was solomnized at the home of the late C. R. and Mrs. Alleri when their eldest daughter Miss Alta Mae Allen became the bride of Mr. William Clarence Eaktet, of Patton, Reverend B. E. W. Currey officiated.
The bride looked charming in a dress of lovely blue crepe with hat, shoes and gloves to match. She carried a lovely bouquet of ferns and tea roses. Miss Elsie Allen, sister of the bride, acted as bridesmaid, wore a dress of nile crepe and carrieded a bouquet of yellow roses. Mr. Harry Eiiket, brother of the groom, 'as groomsman.
Miss Dorthena Eaket, sister of the groom, played the wedding march, dressed in honeydew crepe.
The young couple left on their honeymoon trip to Sault Ste. Marie and Soo Michigan. The bride looked charming in a suit of blue tweed.
"When the young couple returned Friday evening a reception was held at the home of the groom's parents. Mr. and Mrs. Alex Eaket where about one hundred guests enjoyed themselves till the wee hours of the morning. Mr. and, Mrs. Eaket received many gifts showing the high esteem in which the young couple are held.
