- Description
- Artemesia Rural High School was later known as Flesherton District High School.
- Notes
- Built in 1910, this was the first rural high school in Ontario and the only high school between Orangeville and Owen Sound. The original building was damaged in a fire during expansion in 1952 so the new addition was used until 1968 when the building became inadequate.
The high school students were moved to a new school, Grey Highlands Secondary, while this building replaced the old public school as Macphail Memorial Elementary. - Subject(s)
