- Page 1: "Sent to convention 1929
Whereas great hardship is being endured by many returned soldiers who were discharged as fit and without pension but who have since suffered a partial or complete breakdown and who under existing legislation are not eligible for pensions and whereas these soldiers are very often the heads of small families and whereas the cost of the care of the families of totally disabled soldiers now falls on the Province and the Country through the Mothers Allowance and whereas all care of soldiers is quite clearly within the province of the Federal Government ,Therefore be it resolved that this convention urge the Federal Government to amend the present legislation to provide for all totally disabled soldiers."
Page 2: "Whereas the character of business has so changed that the bulk of the property is often personal and whereas a woman is only protected under the Dowry Act when the property is real estate, a man being able to will away from his wife and children all personal property, Therefore be it resolved that this convention urge the Provincial Government to introduce legislation which will insure the wife and children an inheritance in the personal property of the husband and father."
Page 3: "Whereas inequalities in regard to property exist be it resolved that where husband and wife have by joint effort built up an estate that the wife should have an equal right with the husband to will the property to their children should she die first." - Date of Publication
