Description
This is an image of the Iredale family, posed together for a group photo. The names listed to be in this image are Ralph, Thomas, Gordon, Joseph Sr., Hannah (Cousins), Jane, and Almira (Dickson). There is also a small dog in front of the people in this image. The photograph itself was potentially taken when the whole family was together for Joseph Jr.'s marriage to Mary Ann Todd in June 1880.

Joseph Iredale Sr. was first married to Ellen/Mary Barron, and together they shared a son, Joseph Iredale Jr. (married Marry Ann Todd). Jane Tracy, the daughter of George and Elizabeth Tracy, was first married to Archibald James Fairbairn Sr., and together they shared a son Archibald James Fairbairn Jr. (married Mary McLeod). Jane Tracy and Joseph Iredale wed after the passing of both their spouses, and together they shared children Almira (married George Dickson), Jane, Thomas, Ralph, and Hannah (married Joseph Cousins). It was also noted in the June 2, 1838 Journal Argus that James Jr. had a half brother, Gordon, in addition to his half brother Thomas and half sister Hannah.

Order left to right top row: Gordon; Thomas; Ralph
Order left to right bottom row: Almira (Dickson); Jane Iredale; Hannah (Cousins); Joseph Iredale Sr.
