Description
This photo is taken from the Victoria Street Bridge looking towards the Sarnia Bridge in St. Marys. The Victoria Bridge was built in the early 1800's as a wooden structure but damage occured regularly and in 1864 it was announced that a new bridge was needed. The original stone bridge was finished in 1872, repairs and improvements were necessary as time went on but the bridge stands in a similar state today.
