Description
This photo shows Clifton Brown, a St. Marys mayor, on his high-wheeler or Penny Farthing bicycle in a parade. He is putting on a demonstration/performance at a Homecoming parade in St. Marys in 1978.

The Penny Farthing was purchased by his father, John Brown, who rode it until he was well into his 70's. Clifton Brown also became well known for riding the Penny Farthing. It is now part of the collection at the St. Marys Museum.

Photo is in good condition but is dirty and worn around the edges.
