Description
This is a photograph taken of the St. Marys Collegiate Institute. The school was built in 1875, and it is known for its most famous graduate, former Canadian Prime Minister Arthur Meighen. The school had several additions added on after its first addition in 1886.

In 1955 the school transitioned to an elementary school when a new high school was built (St. Marys D.C.V.I). The public school was eventually renamed to Arthur Meighen Public School in 1984. The building is no longer standing, being demolished in 2016.

This photo is a copy of the original.
