- A staged photo of a baseball game being played on the Flats in St. Marys, taken in 1898 by local amateur photographer Milton Reesor. A wooden fence can be seen in the background, separating private land from the playing field. Homes situated on Emily Street are visible on the right side of the photo. The photo gives an indication of the baseball uniforms and equipment used in the late 19th century; the men are playing without the use of baseball gloves.
- Notes
- Condition: Fair - Image is fairly clear. Severe fading and discolouration around image edges, distorting image. Matte is in good condition, slight damage to upper left corner. Some staining on material.
