Description
This wrought iron bridge with stone supports was located in the small community known as Glengowan, located north of St. Marys along the Thames River. This bridge is no longer standing and a larger concrete bridge has been built in its place. McKay's Mill was located on the west bank of the Thames River. McKay had been one of the owners of the mill; however, he was not the first owner. This photo was taken by local amateur photographer Milton Reesor. In 1901, this location was a popular spot for leisure activities such as picnics.
