Description
This photo, taken by Milton Reesor, shows the Blundell family standing on the porch of a small home. The man in the photo was named Robert Blundell; he worked as a Grand Trunk Railway baggageman in St. Marys. His wife Minnie Blundell (née Porter) and daughter Lillian are standing alongside him. Blundell was a tenant at this home once located on Carling Street; the home has since been demolished. The house is a good example of the clapboard style homes commonly built in the late 19th to early 20th century. A summer kitchen wing is visible on the right side of the house with a tall chimney.
