- Description
- This image is one in a series of postcards from the Reg Near collection. This photo shows Queen Street looking East from the Victoria Bridge on Queen Street. Both sides of the street are lined with parked vehicles and in the distance it looks like there is a truck driving towards the photographer. Very faintly Town Hall can be seen in the center of the photo. On the left side in the foreground of the image is a sign for the "Royal Edward Hotel."
This photo was likely taken in the late 19th to early 20th century. - Notes
- Condition: Good- there is an 'X' drawn on the side of the postcard in blue ink. The image itself is dark along the store fronts and difficult to spot town hall. The postcard has been used.
- Inscriptions
- "Queen Street looking East, St. Marys, Ontario."
