Description

This image is one in a series of postcards from the Reg Near collection. The photograph shows Carace Garage and Sheldon's Livery and Sale Stables. The building was located on the southwest corner of Queen and Peel Street. The garage serviced and sold vehicles such as the Russell, the Galt and the Brockville Atlas.

In the photo there are 7 men standing in front of the building as well as a dog. Note the sign on the right side of the photo that reads "J. Arms Coal and."

Notes

Condition: Excellent- all four corners are slightly worn and in the bottom right corner the top layer of paper has begun to wear away.
