- Description
- This image is one in a series of postcards from the Reg Near collection. This photograph shows a couple with their 2 dogs standing in front of their mobile home. Mobile homes were created in the 1910s, and mass-produced throughout the 1920s and 30s. The heyday of the mobile home came after the Second World War, in which an industry boom through the 1950s resulted in the mass appeal of the Winnebago.
