This image is one in a series of postcards from the Reg Near collection. It shows a photograph of Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame inductees from. In the back row, from left to right: Ken Kutsukake, Kaye Kaminishi, Mickey Miakawa, Kiyoshi Suga, and Mike Maruno. In the front row, from left to right: Kirk McCaskill, Richard Belee, and Joe Carter.

The Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum was started in Toronto by Bruce Prentice in the early 1980s, but was closed in 1991. In 1994, St. Marys won the bidding contest and officially opened the Hall of Fame on June 4, 1998. Since then, the Hall of Fame has served to value baseball and contribute to community and economic development, education, and healthy lifestyles.
