- This image is one in a series of postcards from the Reg Near collection. It shows a photograph of a baseball team, however the team itself is unknown. This postcard is dated 1947, a time of high popularity for baseball in the St. Marys area. When baseball resumed after the Second World War, St. Marys had a team in the Middlesex-Oxford league, playing against teams such as Thorndale, DeVizes, Bryanston, Kintore, and Harrington.
