- This image is one in a series of postcards from the Reg Near collection. It shows a view of Trout Creek looking west, with the Wellington and Water Street Bridges spanning the river. The Wellington Street Bridge (front) is the original trussed timber structure, which was replaced by a concrete one in 1911. The Water Street Bridge, built in 1898, is a steel truss bridge that is still in use to this day.
