An article written by local columnist Dorothy Mae Eedy titled "This cake is for special occasions only". In the article, Eedy details how the "most wanted criminal in Canada" Fred Merrill had bumped Canadian Olympic sprinter Ben Johnson off the front page of national newspapers. She writes about King Henry the cat from Casa Loma and his recent accident. This leads into a story about her family cat "Velvet" who had sustained similar injuries.
