- Description
- An article written by local columnist Dorothy Mae Eedy titled "Even the gents can enjoy a visit to a tearoom". In this article, Eedy describes her road trip with her husband and a visitor from out West. She and her husband toured their guest through the campus of the University of Western Ontario and Eedy pointed out many of the beautiful areas on campus.
They also drove out to "Lambs & Ivy", an old farm converted into a bed and breakfast. They enjoyed High Tea at the farm. Eedy explains that the bed and breakfast is owned by Wayne and Janis Paterson. She then describes a recipe created by Janis's mother Myrtle (Mickey) Scattergood and grandmother Maggie Lampard.
Recipes included in the article: "Lime Marmalade" and "Scottish Raisin Scones".
