An article written by local columnist Dorothy Mae Eedy titled "It's the return of the wild turkeys!". This article is about the return of wild turkeys to Ontario. Eedy explains that two species of turkey were brought into Ontario from the U.S. In Trent Valley, 90 turkeys were relocated by the Ministry of Natural Resources and the flock eventually neared the 5000 mark. However, the relocation of turkeys had a negative affect on local farms.
