Description
An article written by local columnist Dorothy Eedy titled "80s decade brought both good and bad". Eedy discusses the stories that were commonly in the media during the 1980s. She pointed out the negative news stories such as high taxation of lower income families, the prominence of HIV AIDS and environmental issues. She also makes mention of the many positive stories in the news including drug use declining among teens, the end of the Cold War and advances in medical research.

Condition: Good - Text is legible. Minor discolouration of newsprint paper. Minor rippling of paper. Four areas of adhesive staining on article, focused on the lower half. Longest stain 3cm in length (near bottom left corner) all spots <1cm in width.
