Description

An article written by local columnist Dorothy Eedy titled "Outstanding qualities and comedy of errors expressed in Lorne Eedy Sr.'s life". In this article, Eedy writes about her father-in-law Lorne Eedy Sr. and his series of articles called "Dear Mr. Editor" which acted as memoirs of his life. He wrote these memoirs in 1946.

In this edition, Dorothy Eedy covers Lorne Eedy Sr.'s interview with CFRB radio announcer Gordon Sinclair. In the interview, Lorne Eedy discussed the Journal-Argus being awarded the Stephenson Trophy for the top weekly in Ontario/Quebec. Eedy also listed all the reasons St. Marys is an outstanding town. Dorothy then writes about Lorne Eedy's trip to Toronto for a Dominion Board meeting and the various mishaps that occurred while he was there.

Condition: Excellent - Text is legible. Little discolouration of newsprint paper. Paper has begun to ripple. Several stained areas at top of article due to adhesive residue. Two darkest spots in upper right corner (<1cm in size).
