Description
An article written by local columnist Dorothy Eedy titled "Childhood cruelty and popularity on Valentine's Day". In this article, Eedy describes her memories of Valentine's Day as a child in school and the tricks the children would play on one another. She also briefly writes about the history of chocolate including its origins in Central America, its increase in popularity when Milton Hershey added caramel to chocolate in 1893 and his creation of "Hershey Kisses".
