Description
This image is one in a series of postcards from the Reg Near collection. It depicts the Granton War Memorial, which was erected in 1920. In August of that year, Granton was given $582 by Biddulph township to create the memorial. It was commissioned to the Hayes Bros. of St. Marys, and the surrounding garden was developed by the Granton Women's Institute.

Condition: slight creasing on corners.
