- This image is one in a series of postcards from the Reg Near collection. Shown is the half-mile race track at Lakeside, with the livery stable visible in the centre. Horse races were popular in Lakeside, and the 6 October 1926 race drew a crowd of over 3000 to the track.
This postcard is used and dated 21 July 1917. - Notes
- Condition: creasing on lower left corner, heavy discolouration throughout both front and back, some slight tears on matting.
