- Description
- This photo depicts the old Opera House in a sleet storm in 1922. The Opera House was built in 1880 by the St. Marys Lodge of the Independent order of Oddfellows, but the Oddfellows had to sell the building in 1904. In 1919, the entire block was converted into a flour mill. In this photo, you can see that the gothic peak has been removed from the Opera House and it is now part of the St. Marys Milling Company.
