- Description
- This photo shows the Royal Bank and Ansett's Jeweler's. On the left, the Royal Bank building was constructed in 1901 and was purchased by the Royal Bank in 1916. This building is still home to the Royal Bank of Canada, but it was extensively renovated in 1967 and again in 1973. Next to it is Anstett's Jeweler's, originally Andrew's Jeweler's, which was constructed in 1884. This building is now vacant, and the clock tower no longer shows the correct time.
