- This photo shows a view looking East down Queen Street in winter when the roads are very slushy. The Royal Bank is pictured on the left, but it is slightly obstructed by a pole. The Royal Bank building was constructed in 1901 and was purchased by the Royal Bank in 1916. This building is still home to the Royal Bank of Canada, but it was extensively renovated in 1967 and again in 1973.
