- This is a photograph of the Grand Trunk Railway Station (VIA Rail Station) and the London Bridge. Three cars are parked outside the station.
The London Bridge opened for traffic in 1858, a year after Grand Trunk Railway announced plans to open a railway line to London and Sarnia from St. Marys. Two bridges were built: the London Bridge and the Sarnia Bridge. While the London Bridge is still in use by trains today, the Sarnia Bridge has been converted to the Grand Trunk walking trail.
The Grand Trunk Railway Station was built in 1907 to accommodate the London line. Now (2018), this station is used as the VIA Rail station. - Notes
