- This photograph shows an aerial view of the south ward of St. Marys in the area around St. Marys District Collegiate and Vocational Institute (D.C.V.I.). The large building in the middle of the photo is D.C.V.I.. South of the high school there is a large amount of empty space. Now, this space is filled with a residential area, the Pyramid Recreation Centre and Little Falls Public School.
St. Marys D.C.V.I. was built in 1954 to replace the old St. Marys Collegiate at the North Ward School (later Arthur Meighen Public School) as population and demand for high school education expanded. Today (July 2018), local high school students still attend St. Marys D.C.V.I.. - Notes
