Description
This is a photograph of the cenotaph by the Town Hall and Library. You can see the Town Hall on the left. Note that when this photograph was taken, the arch had not yet been put in behind the cenotaph and a new flowerbed had not yet been added in front of the flags.

The cenotaph was unveiled on November 7, 1921, three years after armistice of 1918. 65 names of soldiers who died during World War One in the St. Marys area were placed on the memorial.
