Description
This is a photograph of Margaret Grace Evelyn Wilson Eedy, known as Grace Eedy (1881-undetermined). Grace Eedy was born in the village of Bridgen, Ontario but her family moved around every three or four years. After attending normal school, Grace taught at schools all over Ontario. From 1910-1911, she taught at the St. Marys Collegiate Institute. Here, she married Lorne A. Eedy, publisher/editor for the St. Marys Journal Argus in 1911. Together, Grace and Lorne had three children: Elizabeth Eedy, John Wilson Eedy and Alice Eedy. She was also an active member of the church, and was the president of the Women's Missionary Society in St. Marys for two terms.
