- This is a photograph of Lorne A. Eedy with two of his children, Elizabeth Brown Frye Eedy and John Wilson Eedy. A note on the back suggests that it may have been taken in 1917.
Lorne A. Eedy took over as publisher/editor of the St. Marys Joural Argus after his father, John Wolfe Eedy, fell ill. He married Grace Wilson in 1911 and together they had three children: Elizabeth, John, and Alice. Alice is not in this picture; she may not have even been born yet.
After his father's death, John Wilson Eedy took over at the Journal Argus. He married Dorothy May Strom in 1943. - Notes
