- This marriage portrait depicts a couple (presumably William Stevens and his wife) in formal attire. The husband sits in a chair on the left with a neutral expression on his face and his wife stands to his left with her hand on the back of his chair, also with a neutral expression. The husband looks slightly to the left of the camera and the wife looks slightly to the right - both are not directly engaged with the camera or looking at one another. They are situated on a white fur carpet with minimal decoration in the background.
- Notes
- Condition: Slightly faded with a pin-sized dark stain near the top middle of the photo. Below the portrait, there are scratches and marks from wear on the gold lettering with a strip of darkened hue of the background just below the photograph. There is also a worn mark on the bottom right corner below the text "St. Marys"
